About Varna

Located on the shores of the Black sea and Varna lake, not coincidentally Varna is called “The sea capital of Bulgaria”. The city fascinates with its cultural and historical monuments, its beautiful beaches and fauna, and last but not least with all the entertainment places. Because of this rich combination Varna is one of the most famous resort centers across Europe and the biggest one in the Black sea region.

Very close to the city are the summer resorts St. St. Constantine and Helena, Golden sands, Albena and the picturesque Balchik, which is famous with its palace complex and Botanical garden.

Varna is an attractive destination not only in the summer, when it welcomes a lot of Bulgarian and foreign tourists, but also is appropriate for business tourism throughout the whole year.

Inheritor to ancient civilizations and survived the vicissitudes of time, today the city is one of the most beautiful Bulgarian towns, reasonably called the "Pearl of the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast."

Reviewing the following pictures you will see the continuous development of the city and its various “faces” through the years.
